Well this post is way overdue. We had a great time last August in Scotland and of course we want to go back again this year, probably in July because we didn't get to see inside Edinburgh Castle last year because of the Tattoo.
I met my cousin George, his wife Janet and his sister Jane. We visited most of the places where I grew up and this time we want to finish off some more of the sites we missed.
As for handwork, this year I have not been so busy with beading as on last years. I think maybe I have made a very few bracelets and maybe a necklace or two.
This year I want to get back to sewing, quilting and embroidery as well as some beading but of course after the renovations and getting everything back from storage I have lots of boxes still to sort though. Slowly I will get there. I did manage to knit a cowl for my grand daughter Tomer and a Scarf for Jane which hopefully should go in the mail to her soon.
